PLAYING DRESS UP

If there is something I love it's having an opportunity to really dress up. When I have the chance to wear a long dress I feel the way i felt when I was little and my mom dressed me up as a princess. Yesterday I had a wedding and it was the perfect chance to glam up and feel like a princess again.

Si algo me encanta es tener la oportunidad para arreglarme de verdad. Cuando me pongo un vestido largo me siento como cuando mi mamá me disfrazaba de princesa de chica. Ayer tuve un boda y fue la oportunidad perfecta para revivir ese sentimiento.

EXTREME MAKEOVER

I'm ashamed to say order has never been my thing. Every new year I make the resolution to be more tidy but years pass and it never changes. I decided it was time to make a habit of it and gave my drawers and extreme make up. I hope the effort it took makes me keep it this way. I'm so excited now I can see everything when I'm getting ready.

Me da pena admitir que el orden nunca ha sido una cualidad mia. Cada año nuevo hago la resolución de ser mas ordenada pero nunca la he cumplido. Decidi que era hora de hacer un habito de ello y les di un extreme makeover a mis cajones. Espero que el trabajo que me costo me haga mantenerlo así. Estoy muy emocionada ya puedo ver todo cuando me este arreglando.

COMFORT DIARIES

There is nothing like being comfortable, that is why i love this A.L.C dress it's like wearing a huge cotton t-shirt. What I like the most about it is that even though it shouldn't look dressy it does. The Dannijo necklace balances out the whole outfit and makes it look more elegant without making it loose its edge.

A la hora de vestirse no hay nada como la comodidad, por eso amo este vestido de A.L.C es como usar una t-shirt de algodón enorme. Lo que me encanta de este vestido es que aún cuando no se tendría que ver arreglado si lo es. El collar de cuello de Dannijo balancea todo el outfit, lo hace verse un poco mas elegante sin quitarle el toque casual.

THE BOLD MOUTH

I'm a makeup junkie, even though I keep my makeup simple i'm obsessed with products. My favorite are lipsticks I don't seem to get enough of them. I love bold colors that add attitude to any outfit specially since I almost never use eye shadow.

Soy adicta al maquillaje, aunque me pinto muy poco estoy obsesionada con los productos. Mis favoritos son los lipsticks, no puedo tener suficientes. Amo los colores diferentes y fuertes que le dan actitud a un outfit y al look especialmente porque casi nunca uso sombra de ojos.

My friend Gabriel Villaseñor has a blog called ItGirl Mexico. He did a post about the fashion supposed dont's that are actually do's. Some friends and I where featured on it. Here are some of the pictures I appear on. All the styling was done with our own clothes so we where actually showing how we would wear it.
