NEW YORK BLACK

Usually when I travel most of the clothes I pack are black, specially if the weather is going to be cold. Black is easier to combine so that way I don't overpack and just take the things I'll need. I also love it because you can just add a pair of high heels and make it night appropriate. Besides, black is the perfect color for New York. 

Normalmente cuando viajo la mayoría de la ropa que meto a la maleta es negra, especialmente si el clima va a estar frio. El negro es mucho más fácil de combinar y de esta manera no llevo cosas de más. También me encanta porque solo poniéndote unos tacones ya estas lista para la noche. Aparte, el negro es el color perfecto para Nueva York.

Lets do it like the french...

Stripes are everywhere right now, they remind me of the parisian style. Originally I wanted to pair the this Zara pants with a more simple t-shirt but when I saw this Nanette Lepore blouse I gave it a try. I loved it, it looks very french. I added the small yellow bag and the red lip to give it a pop of color.

Las rayas están en todos lados, me recuerdan al estilo parisino. Originalmente queria combinar estos pantalones de Zara con una t-shirt más simple pero cuándo vi esta blusa de Nanette Lepore en mi closet decidí ver como quedaría junto. Me encanto, solo le agregue la bolsa amarilla y la boca roja para darle un toque de color.

DENIM LOVE

I have always had a thing for denim jackets; they go with absolutely everything. This rag & bone denim jacket with leather sleeves was a great find. It has all the qualities of a classic one but with a more fashion forward twist. Since it is a casual outfit i wanted to shoot it in my room since it is where I spend most of my time.

Siempre me han encantado las chamarras de mezclilla porque quedan con absolutamente todo. Esta de rag & bone con las mangas de piel fue una gran compra. Tiene todas las características de cualquier chamarra clásica pero con un toque más fashion forward. Como es un outfit casual quise tomar las fotos en mi cuarto porque es donde paso la mayor parte del tiempo.
