Juerguen Teller: lovely rawness

We live in a photoshopped world. Not only in the magazines; it's already on facebook, Instagram, our photo albums and everyday life. I recently saw the W magazine Movie issue and was bewitched by the photographs taken by fashion photographer Juerguen Teller of the oscar nominees. I have always been a fan of his work but liked it even more after seeing this, each picture was more extraordinary than the one before and you could see sole emotion. Fashion and art is not only the glossy picture perfect shot, it is also this rawness and realness some great photographers take on to do. I picked some of my favorite pictures form the shoot and also some of his work.

Vivimos en un mundo de photoshop. No solo en las revistas, también en Facebook, Instagram, nuestros albúms de fotos y nuestra vida diaria. Hace unos días vi en la revista W su Movie Issue y me quede enamorada de las fotografías que tomo el fotografo de moda Juerguen Teller a los nominados al oscar. Siempre había sido fan de su trabajo pero me gusto aún mas después de ver esto, cada foto es mas extraordinaria que la anterior, están llenas de emoción. La moda y el arte no solo son esa imagen brillosa perfecta, son esta crudeza y realidad que algunos grandes fotógrafos han decidido poner en evidencia. Aqui están algunas de mis favoritas de la sesión y algunas otras de su trabajo.

My friend Gabriel Villaseñor has a blog called ItGirl Mexico. He did a post about the fashion supposed dont's that are actually do's. Some friends and I where featured on it. Here are some of the pictures I appear on. All the styling was done with our own clothes so we where actually showing how we would wear it.

Mi amigo Gabriel Villaseñor tiene un blog de moda llamado ItGirl México. El hizo un post sobre los supuestos dont's de la moda que en realidad son do's. Unas amigas y yo salimos en el. Aqui están algunas de las fotos en las que salgo. Todo el styling lo hicimos con nuestra propia ropa para que realmente enseñáramos como lo usaríamos.

GET YOUR FUR ON

Today the weather in London was very nice, even though it was a little bit cold. I used the little feathery jacket because a coat was too much. I kept most of the outfit simple and just gave it a fun factor with the jacket. The zara booties are really comfortable to walk with, something that I did a lot today.

Hoy aunque hizo un poco de frio el Londres el clima estuvo delicioso. Use el saquito de plumitas porque un abrigo era demasiado. Mantuve el outfit sencillo y solo le agregue una pieza divertida la cual es el saquito. Las botitas de Zara están muy cómodas para caminar lo cual hice mucho hoy.
