NEW YORK BLACK
Usually when I travel most of the clothes I pack are black, specially if the weather is going to be cold. Black is easier to combine so that way I don't overpack and just take the things I'll need. I also love it because you can just add a pair of high heels and make it night appropriate. Besides, black is the perfect color for New York.
Normalmente cuando viajo la mayoría de la ropa que meto a la maleta es negra, especialmente si el clima va a estar frio. El negro es mucho más fácil de combinar y de esta manera no llevo cosas de más. También me encanta porque solo poniéndote unos tacones ya estas lista para la noche. Aparte, el negro es el color perfecto para Nueva York.

PAAR'S NEW COLLECTION: MARIE
The mexican fashion industry is actually a growing one. New talented designers, bloggers and stylists emerge everyday and they are positioning Mexico in the fashion map. A perfect example of this are Paulina Villalpando and Ari Camacho. They founded PAAR in 2003, which is a fashion and accessories line in which a lot of the products are hand crafted and in 2008 the created the PAAR blog(www.thepaarblog.com). In the blog you can check out not just their personal style but also events, people form the globe that inspire them and fashion related themes. They recently launched the new line called Marie, it's amazing! You can check out and buy their stuff in the online store (http://paar.bigcartel.com/). La industria de la moda es México actualmente está en crecimiento. Muchos diseñadores, bloggers y stylists emergentes están posicionando a México en el mapa de la moda. Un ejemplo perfecto de esto son Paulina Villalpando y Ari Camacho. Ellas fundaron la línea de joyería y accesorios PAAR en el 2003 la cuál tiene muchas piezas hechas a mano y posteriormente en el 2008 crearon el PAAR blog (www.thepaarblog.com). TOUS: NOT JUST A BEAR
Some of the first pieces of jewelry I owned were from the spanish brand Tous. It was the iconic bear necklace and earrings, I didn't take it off for years. Along the way we grew up and kept the idea that Tous was just about the bear we associate with our childhood. It most definitely is not. It has lines and style for every taste and every age and it will always be classy and timeless. I´m in love with the Manolo Blanhik shoe necklace for tous.
Algunas de las primeras piezas de joyería que tuve fueron de la marca española Tous. Eran el iconico collar de ositos y los aretes, no me lo quite por años. Fuimos creciendo y nuestros gustos cambiaron, nos quedamos con la idea de que Tous solo era el osito que asociamos con nuestra infancia. La verdad es que nada que ver, tiene líneas para todos los gusto y edades. Siempre va a ser fino y clásico pero puede tener ese toque joven y moderno. Vivo enamorada del collar de Manolo Blanhik para Tous.

My friend Andrea and I where asked to model for the new line of two great mexican fashion designers that have a line called Myú. I love their clothes because they still keep it very personal and there are not two pieces that are the same, they are always changing detail. This spring/summer line is called Floresencia.
A mi amiga Andrea y a mi nos pidieron que modeláramos para la línea de dos diseñadores mexicanas la cual se llama Myú. Me encanta su ropa porque sigue siendo muy personal y casi no hay dos piezas idénticas, siempre están cambiando detalles. Esta línea primavera verano se llama Floresencia.
