I have a “thing” for beauty products, especially makeup. The ironic thing is that I keep my own makeup almost to the minimum. Sometimes my friends even have to tell me that I need more blush or lipstick. The other day I decided I wasn’t going to spend any more money on beautiful products (sigh) that I would probably just use once. This means sticking to the essentials. So here are my makeup basics:
1. Fragonard Makeup Pouch: Every girl needs a pretty makeup pouch to keep all here treasures.
2. Peter Thomas Roth CC cream: what I’m using as a foundation right now. It is light and doesn’t look like a mask, it just evens out your complexion.
3. Hoola Blush by Benefit: May I present the best blush ever created. My friends and I have been using it for years and we all love it. What is great about it is that it blends in beautifully regardless of your skin tone.
4. Mineralize Skin Finish by MAC: this shade is called “Adored”. It gives your cheeks a natural glow with the perfect hint of a peachy color.
5. “Kabuki” Brush by Too Faced: it is not just perfect for your bag it is also amazingly soft.
6. Brow Crayon by Mally: I have always thought brows are one of the most important features of your face. This crayon in “Taupe” is one of my greatest finds. It’s practical, easy to use and it looks natural.
7. Double Eyeshadow by MAC: this one is called Love Connection. It has a beige and a gold tone. It’s perfect. If you like to keep it natural like me you won't need more.
8. Sephora Lash Curler and “Diorshow Blackout” Mascara: I’m constantly changing my mascara but always seem to come back to Dior. The brush works wonders on my lashes.
9. “Stay All Day “ Liquid Eye Liner by Stila and “24/7” Eye Crayon by Urban Decay: for me heavier makeup means some gold eyeshadow and a cat eye. After trying all kind of eyeliners I found these two. They stay put for hours and are easy to apply.
10. Marilyn Monroe limited edition lipstick and gloss by Mac: even though I’m obsessed with bold lips I suck at wearing bright hues. I’m very bad at remembering to reapply and having and impeccable lip so I like neutral tones like these. They are a soft shade of pink that go with everything, casual to dressy. I don’t know what I’m going to do when they run out.
11. "Midnight Rain" Perfume by la Prairie: i love strong and distinctive smells when it comes to perfumes. This fragrance by la prairie is my ultimate favorite. It kind of smells like chocolate.

A veces me tienen que decir mis amigas que me falta blush o lipstick. El otro día decidí que ya no voy a gastar en productos que probablemente solo voy a usar una vez por más que estén increíbles. Tuve que ser honesta y decidí quedarme con lo esencial, los pocos productos sin los cuales no puedo vivir. Estos son mis básicos:
1. Estuche de Maquillaje por Fragonard: Toda mujer necesita un estuche bonito en dónde guardar su maquillaje.
2. Cream CC de Peter Thomas Roth: mi maquillaje como tal es actualmente este. Lo que me gusta es que no te deja una capa estilo máscara, sólo empareja tu complexión de manera natural.
3. Blush “Hoola” de Benefit: déjenme presentarles el mejor blush jamás creado. Mis amigas y yo lo llevamos usando por años. Los que es increíble es que se mezcla perfecto sin importar tu tono de piel y te da un "glow" bronceado natural.
4. Mineralize Skin Finish de MAC: este en particular se llama “Adored”. Le da un brillo extra a la cara con un ligero tono durazno perfecto.
5. Brocha “Kabuki” de Too Faced: no sólo es perfecta para la bolsa pero es una locura lo suave que es.
6. Crayón de Cejas de Mally: siempre he pensando que las cejas son muy importantes para enmarcar el rostro. Este crayón en tono “Taupe” ha sido uno de mis mejores descubrimientos. Es fácil y práctico de usar.
7. Sombras de Ojos dobles de MAC: estas sombras llamadas “Love Connection” son el dúo perfecto. Es un tono Beish y uno Cobre. Si te gusta el maquillaje natural como a mi, te prometo que no necesitas nada más.
8. Enchinador de Pestañas de Sephora y Rímel Diorshow Blackout: siempre estoy cambiando de marcas de rímel y acabo regresando a este de Dior. Su cepillo hace maravillas en mis pestañas.
9. Delineador Liquido “Stay All Night” de Stila y Lápiz Delineador “24/7” de Urban Decay: para mi maquillarme un poco más significa un “cat eye” y un poco de sombra dorada. Probé mil delineadores hasta toparme con estos dos. Durán toda la noche y su aplicación es fácil.
10. Lipstick y gloss Edición Limitada de Mryling Monroe para MAC: soy fan de los labios en tonos llamativos, pero la verdad es que soy la peor a la hora de pintarme la boca. Se me olvida retocarme y no tengo la paciencia para tener unos labios impecables. Por eso para el día a día opto por tonos rosas neutrales como lo son estos dos. No se que voy a hacer cuándo se me acaben.
11. Perfume “Midnight Rain” de La Prairie: cuando se trata de perfumes soy fan de los olores fuertes y peculiares. Este es mi favorito, huele ligeramente a chocolate.
