MY SAFE DRESS

We all have treasures in out closet. They are things we buy without knowing we will be using them for years and years to come and still feel like special while wearing them. I bought this Nanette Lepore dress when I was sixteen. It was the first Nanette Lepore thing I owned and she has come to be one of my favorite designers. I still remember the excitement when I tried it on and how proud I was to buy it with my own savings. I have been wearing it for a long time now and I can't seem to get enough. Every time I put it on I am amazed again by how gorgeous it is and how good it makes me feel. It is my safe dress. 

Todos tenemos tesoros en nuestros closet. Esas cosas que compras sin saber que las estarás usando por muchos años y te seguirás sintiendo especial al usarlas. Compré éste vestido de Nanette Lepore cuándo tenía 16 años. Es la primera cosa que tuve de Nanette Lepore, ahorita se ha convertido en una de mis diseñadoras favoritas. Me acuerdo de la emoción que tenía al comprarlo y lo orgullosa que estaba de hacerlo con mis ahorros. Lo he usado ya por mucho tiempo y no me canso de el. Cada vez que me lo pongo me sigo enamorando de el y me sorprende que me vuelve hacer sentir especial. Es mi ¨safe dress¨.

NAIL ART IN 1,2,3...

When I first saw nail stickers I had my doubts about them. It was just too good to be true. One day I decided to give them a try and realized I had been wrong all along. They are easy to use, last longer than nail polish and look fab. A lot of nail brands like OPI and Essie have all types of designs, from bolder and flashier to nude simple tones. If you haven't tried them you should definitely give them a chance.

La primera vez que vi las stickers para uñas tuve mis dudas sobre ellas. Eran demasiado buenas para ser verdad. Un día decidí darles un chance y me di cuenta que estaba totalmente equivocada. Son fáciles de usar, duran más que un barniz de uñas normal y se ven increíbles. Muchas marcas de productos de uñas como OPI y Essie han sacado mucha variedad en diseños padres, desde extravagantes y llamativos hasta tonos neutros y sencillos. Si no las has probado definitivamente les deberías de dar un chance.

THAT BASIC PIECE

We all have those pieces of clothing in our closet that seem to go with everything. That is the case of this Aqua oversized t-shirt. I just can't seem to take it off. It's comfortable and versatile at the same time. Today I paired it with some Rag & Bone Jeans I adore. It looked so good together I didn't have to think that much about accessories. Comfortable can also look good. 

Todos tenemos alguna pieza en nuestro closet que combina con todo. Este es el caso de esta t-shirt de Aqua. Tal parece que se ve bien con lo que me la ponga; es cómoda y versátil al mismo tiempo. Hoy la combine con unos jeans de Rag & Bone que me vuelven loca. Se veía tan bien junto que no tuve que pensa mucho en los accesorios. Lo cómodo también se puede ver bien.

OAXACA

I spent the last ten days having the time of my life in Huatulco and Oaxaca with my friends. I had never been to Oaxaca even though it is pretty close to home. I have to say I fell in love with this city. It has a magical atmosphere, amazing art and breathtaking food. I took some of the pictures in downtown Oaxaca, in Santo Domingo and Monte Alban. 

Los último diez días los pase en Huatulco y en Oaxaca con mis amigas. Nunca había ido a Oaxaca y eso que esta muy cerca de dónde vivo. Tengo que admitir que me enamoré de esta ciudad. Tiene una atmósfera mágica, arte irreal y comida que te deja sin aliento. Algunas de las fotos las tome en el centro, en Santo Domingo y en Monte Albán.
